Children in Your Wedding Party

Traditionally you would see children take part in the bridal party as the flower girl or the ring bearer. They add an extra something to your day. You just never know what they are going to do. But this is a good thing because it’s usually something that will bring a smile to everyone’s face! So if you have a little cutie that would make your day even more special ask their parents if they can be a part of your bridal party! If nothing else they will look absolutely adorable all dressed up!

Live Band or DJ?

Let’s chat about the music that will be played during your reception. Are you going with a live band or a DJ? Both are great ways to keep your guests entertained during the reception. It really comes down to preference. If you are the type of person who really enjoys listening to live bands and you don’t mind that the songs will not be heard in its “original version” then a live band will be a great addition to your wedding design plans. If you like to hear music in its “original form” then the DJ is the way to go for your reception. Whichever way you decide make sure your shoes will be comfortable enough for you to boogy the night or day away!

Your First Dance

Have you had a chance to pick out your wedding song yet? Having a problem deciding which one you want? There are so many romantic songs out there it may be difficult. So we are going to reach out all of our brides to be out there! Let us know what your song is going to be or just share some ideas that you think will be good songs to have your first dance to. You can even share how you decided on your song. (Just a quick tip ladies, start thinking about if you want to dance to the entire song or just part of it, most DJ’s give you those options.)

Gifts for Each Other

Is it necessary to buy each other wedding gifts? That’s a pretty good question. The answer will depend entirely on what the both of you want as well as how much change is left in your pocket book/ wallet. Like with so many other decisions in the wedding design process this is totally up to you. There is no right or wrong answer here. Talk to your significant other and decide what you both think is best. Maybe you want to do something on a smaller scale. You could put a price limit on it. Or if you are the creative types you could each make something for each other and present it on your honeymoon night.
